The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken significant steps in the ongoing fight against terrorism by attaching four immovable properties of 11 accused individuals linked to an ISIS module in Pune. This action carried out under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, marks a crucial development in dismantling the network of global terrorist outfits operating within the country. The properties, located in Kondhwa, Pune, were reportedly used for the fabrication of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), as well as for training and planning terrorist acts. The accused individuals, including three who are currently absconding, are facing charges related to a conspiracy to spread terror through various means, including IED fabrication, training workshops, and fundraising activities through armed robberies and thefts.
